Costs & dates



The programme fee is 435 000 SEK, excluding VAT. This fee includes lectures, supervision and all mandatory study literature. It also includes refreshments and lunches.

Travel and accommodation costs where applicable are not included in the programme fee. This applies to the recurring on campus sessions, the three-day, off-campus leadership workshop and the two separate one-week residencies in China and India.

Our participants need to be fully sponsored by their employers. A non-refundable tuition reservation fee (10%) is required upon acceptance to the programme. The remaining tuition will be paid in two equal instalments at the start of the programme and the start of the second term.


The Executive MBA programme is a part-time programme conducted in English over 21 months. There is one intake per year, starting in October.

The next Executive MBA programme starts October 4, 2018.

The scheduled three-day classroom sessions on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, take place at a three-week interval with Christmas and summer breaks. All In all, you will have about eleven three-day classroom sessions per year.

Two separate one-week residencies in Asia

The Gothenburg Executive MBA programme includes two separate one-week residencies at our partner universities; Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India. The residency in Hangzhou, China takes place in April during term 2. The residency in Bangalore, India takes place in January during term 4.

Participants to our programme will travel to Asia with intensive fulltime schedules. During a residency, the class typically spends mornings on campus with academic workshops led by the local faculty. Afternoons are devoted to well-prepared field trips to multinational and local companies and organisations. Evenings are used for debriefing and reflection.
