Executive MBA programme
Develop your capabilities to manage strategic and operational realities.
This programme explores the principles of innovation and creativity and describes how processes can be managed effectively. Two full days of lectures and seminars are followed by a reflection period of one month, during which you are expected to work within your organization with a challenge of your choice. Day 3 (half day) we discuss results and reflect on what we have learned.
The programme aims to explain, in a pedagogical way, the financial reports and ratios used in business today. Theory is interspersed with concrete examples from different companies and events. As a participant in the program, you develop your knowledge on two levels to also gain understanding for how decisions affect the financial performance and the results of the business.
In Management Control II, we go deeper into the analyses of the financial statements and apply a broad perspective on control systems and control. Current research is combined with practice and the participants’ own experiences.
An accelerating pace of change in the surrounding world places new demands on companies and their individuals. The ability to adjust and sometimes radically change operations based on new conditions is required to succeed. This programme provides anunderstanding of change leadership and offers tools and methods for driving and succeeding with change management.
Many corporate success stories can be traced back to innovative business models: IKEA became the world’s largest furniture company by not assembling furniture, Netflix has completely changed the way we consume movies and TV series, and Airbnb allows you to start your own hotel (or generate revenue from otherwise empty rooms in your home).
Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to write speeches, analyze images and predict stock markets. In this programme we explain how these tasks are solved and how AI can be used in the participants’ organizations. Participants get to understand the opportunities and limitations of the AI technology and how to start using it.
The programme aims to develop your business acumen, whether you are a central purchaser, part of the management team at an institution or a purchase coordinator. By developing a business-like overall view, buyers can make better daily purchasing decisions. Within educational institutions, resources can thereby be made available for research and education within existing cost budget frameworks.
The programme identifies tremendous changes in pricing practice in the last 5-10 years resulting from new technology, advances in analytics, software, and data, presenting organizations with opportunities and the need to update their practices. The content of the programme aims to support leadership in organizations in building their pricing and revenue management capacity, new capabilities in product innovation, and marketing mix functions.
The open-enrolment programmes are 1-2,5 days in length. They are designed for leaders who are in need of quality-assured competence development, but have little time to spare. Programmes are given in Swedish or English, depending on the lecturer.
