The only Triple Crown accredited business school in Sweden!

In 2016, the School of Business, Economics and Law received a third international accreditation – AACSB. In addition to accreditation by EQUIS and AMBA, this makes us the only “Triple Crown” accredited business school in Sweden. Only around 88 business schools in the world (approx. 0.5%) have achieved this status. This exclusive group includes, among others, London Business School, Antai at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, INSEAD in France and Copenhagen Business School.

On the 19th of October 2016 we celebrated being Sweden’s only Triple Crown Accredited Business School!

Accredited by AMBA

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international independent organisation that accredits postgraduate business programmes at business schools worldwide. AMBA accreditation defines a global standard for MBA programmes and only 257 business schools have thus far (2018) received AMBA accreditation, which equals approx. two percent of all business schools in the world.

EQUIS – a quality stamp

The School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg is proud to be awarded the EQUIS-accreditation. In Europe, programme requirements are defined and monitored by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which awards an EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation to schools with programmes that meet their standards. The EQUIS seal of approval has been granted to 176 business schools around the world.
