GU Executive Education Welcomes new Leadership and Strengthens its Team

Since the turn of the year, Henrik Schröder is the new CEO of GU Executive Education. Former CEO, Håkan Ericson, will continue working for the company as a senior consultant. The team is further strengthened by the recruitment of Joakim Hökegård, who has assumed the role of Marketing & Sales Director.

GU Executive Education AB, fully owned by the state-owned GU Ventures AB and working in close collaboration with the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, is an established provider of executive education that helps leaders and managers in both the private and public sectors to acquire the knowledge necessary to successfully develop their organizations in a changing world.

Henrik Schröder joined GU Executive Education as Sales & Business Development Director more than two years ago.

Lifelong Learning
At the beginning of the year, GU Executive Education was further strengthened as Joakim Hökegård joined as the new Marketing & Sales Director. Joakim Hökegård has extensive experience as a CEO of communication and web agencies as well as tech companies. He has also worked as a marketing director in both the B2B and consumer sectors and has a deep knowledge of digital solutions and tech-related matters.
