Open Program

Generative AI in Practice

Create tools that work for you.
It's said that generative AI won't take our jobs, but people who master generative AI will. This program is for those who want to master generative AI and become the employees, specialists, and managers of the future. You'll gain an understanding of how generative AI works, learn to develop well-functioning prompts, and create your own agent based on ChatGPT.

About the Program

Generative AI is becoming increasingly important to our society. The best known is probably ChatGPT, but we use generative AI almost all the time. It’s built into our phones, office programs, and even TVs to interpret language in real time. It’s said that generative AI won’t take our jobs, but people who master generative AI will. This program is for those who want to master generative AI and become the employees, specialists, and managers of the future.

The program provides knowledge about how to best use generative AI in our work, with a focus on developing effective prompts and creating custom GPTs — agents that can summarize, interpret documents, and find relevant information. Over two half-days, we cover the theory behind generative AI, strategies for prompting, and the development of agents that can be shared with colleagues at the company.

The first half-day concludes with a discussion on the ethical and legal conditions for using generative AI in our work.

The goal of the course is to understand how generative AI works, to learn how to develop prompts that reduce the risk of misunderstandings, and to be able to create your own agent based on ChatGPT (a so-called “custom GPT”). We begin with theory to understand the basics, and then use the majority of the course to practically build a custom GPT.

Structure

Target audience:

Managers, leaders, specialists, and other people who want to develop their use of generative AI at work.

This course is particularly suitable for you if you:

want to understand the possibilities of generative AI and use the technology more effectively in your work. You want to develop better prompts, explore how custom GPTs can be used to streamline tasks, and gain practical experience in developing your own GPT.

DAY 1 Morning

  • Introduction to generative AI.
  • Common AI tasks: creating, summarizing, and generating text.
  • Prompting. Developing prompts for various tasks.
  • Ethical and legal aspects of generative AI.

DAY 2 Morning

  • Check-in and summary of day 1.
  • Developing a GPT – theory.
Developing a custom GPT in ChatGPT to interpret legal documents (e.g. copyright).
  • Developing a GPT – practice.
Based on the theoretical foundation, participants build their own GPT in ChatGPT, with practical guidance from the course leader.
  • Each participant presents their solution/GPT.
