Faculty
The Executive MBA programme is led by lecturers and researchers from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, together with internationally recognized academics and experienced leaders from business and society. The teaching is based on current research and is designed to be relevant to the challenges organisations face today.
Instead of simplifying complex issues, the faculty introduces perspectives that challenge assumptions, deepen understanding, and strengthen participants’ ability to make well-founded decisions in uncertain and changing environments.
For employers and organisations.
Investing in an Executive MBA is about more than developing an individual employee. It is a strategic investment in theorganisation’s future leadership capacity, change capability, and long-term competitiveness.
In a world characterized by increased complexity, rapid technological development, and changing market conditions, leaders are increasingly required to understand connections, make well-founded decisions, and translate strategy into action. The Executive MBA programme develops the perspectives, judgement, and decision-making ability required to lead organisations through change and uncertainty.
For many organisations, the Executive MBA is part of a long-term strategy for leadership supply, talent development, and succession planning. The investment not only strengthens the individual but also contributes to increased adaptability, stronger strategic thinking, and a broader network that creates value long after the programme’s conclusion.
Alumni network
Participants in the Executive MBA programme come from diverse industries, roles, and backgrounds. Together, they contribute experiences and perspectives that enrich the learning. This creates an environment where ideas, assumptions, and experiences are continuously tested, challenged, and developed.
After graduation, you become part of an international alumni network of experienced leaders. The relationships built during the programme often extend far beyond the classroom, providing continued exchange of experience, support, and new opportunities throughout your professional life.
