Professor Hyan-Han Shin is a finance professor and Associate Dean for Strategic Planning at Yonsei University, School of Business. He is also Co-Director of the Korea Business Programme. Here he explains how the Korean alphabet works. The alphabet itself was defined in 1443 as a result of a dedicated task force.
