On October 7th, it was time for the new participants of the Executive MBA Programme 2010-2012 to begin their 21-month programme. The programme has an international outlook and is characterised by novel thinking and a progressive spirit, emphasising on emerging markets in Asia. The Executive MBA class of 2012 is a diverse group with experienced managers. The participants contribute with experiences from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, such as pharmaceutics, engineering, IT, healthcare and media.
The first day of the programme consisted of a full day with introduction, seminars and workshops, followed by a welcome dinner in the evening where participants gathered with faculty and programme direction.
The curriculum of the Executive MBA Programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law reflects the challenges of today¿s knowledge society with increased international elements with lecturers from our partner universities and from international business life. During their first days of the programme, the participants will meet with faculty from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), one of the partner universities of the School and one of the most prestigious business schools in India. In the beginning of the fourth term, the participants will spend an intensive week at the school in Bangalore. Prior to the India week, already during the second term, the Executive MBA class of 2012 will also spend one week at our partner university in Hangzhou, China.
The Executive MBA Programme benefits from the International Visiting Professor Programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law, where some 25 visiting professors from 15 esteemed universities and business schools from around the world will be associated with the School at a part-time basis.
