AI for Executives – new program now open for registration

At the end of January 2024, the first of the four modules that make up the new AI for Executives programme will be carried out. GU Executive Education is proud to present thought leaders such as Robin Teigland, Göran Lindsjö and Johan Magnusson among the lecturers. During a total of six days, the tools, understanding and strategic knowledge that managers and leaders need to be able to control and drive the development of AI in their organizations are presented and discussed.

The knowledge of the potential of AI must be present where the strategic decisions are made. GU Executive Education has now opened the registration for the new national AI for Executives programme. It is designed for managers and leaders, with or without a technical background, who need to enhance their understanding of AI to be able to develop an AI strategy for their business.

AI for Executives is a unique collaboration between executive education organisations at Stockholm University, the University of Gothenburg and Uppsala University, and the National Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence, AI Sweden. The programme is characterised by renowned lecturers with international experience from business, academia, and politics.

The programme is offered at the universities of Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Uppsala and runs over six days divided into four modules. The first three modules (a total of five full days over three months) are delivered in regional programme sequences at each of the three universities. The content is common, but dates and lecturers vary between the locations. In Gothenburg, the introductory module will be held on January 25–26. On June 19, the program ends with a full day in Stockholm, delivered by AI Sweden, where participants from all three universities meet.

Among the nine lecturers in Gothenburg are:

• Robin Teigland acknowledged professor at Chalmers whose research and undertakings concern the intersection of strategy, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
• Göran Lindsjö, international AI entrepreneur and advisor on strategic AI issues to company management and politicians in Europe and North America
• Johan Magnusson, professor at the University of Gothenburg, engaged in the business world and recognized as one of the three most influential people in the digital transformation of the public sector.
