A fruitful week in China with the Executive MBA class 2013-2015

The study trip in China has passed very quickly. In a little more than a weeks’ time, the participants learned about Chinese culture and history as a foundation to understand the economic and business environment development as well as Chinese approach to innovation. A combination of lectures taught by some Chinese faculty from Zhejiang University and Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University as well as company visits were included in the study. Not only did our participants have a chance to discuss with the Chinese managers but also have we invited some expatriates who have worked for some time in China to share their experience about doing business in China.

Supply Chain Management was another study topic during the study trip. Through visiting some local logistic companies and a lecture taught by our own faculty from the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg, the participants could compare different business models. It has been an intensive week but yet very fruitful! Next study trip’s destination is Bangalore where the participants will learn about creative leadership.
